Primary Functions
EASYBALANCE is a Swedish manufactured environmentally friendly balancing powder that is applied directly to the tyres when mounting. Balancing that provides an optimal weight balance for the entire life of the tyre, an increased service life and great driving comfort. Chassis parts, bearings, bushings etc, are spared from wearing out too quickly.

Checkpoints® are sized by the corresponding measurement (in millimetres) across the flats of the hexagonal nut fitting. Current sizes available* include (in mm):

Standard Colours

The standard colours for Checkpoint® are Fluoro Yellow and Red, however subject to stock and/or minimum order quantity, the following are also available*:
Blue, Black, Olive Grey, Green, Orange, Silver Grey, White and Solid Yellow.
*Other colours can be made available subject to a high minimum order quantity.
Instructions
Mount one side of the tyres. Apply the EASYBALANCE bag or pour the powder into the tyre by the amoutn specified in the measurement table. Mount the other side of the tyre onto the rim and add air at the recommended pressure. The tyre is now ready to mount onto the vehicle.
Observe the mounting instructions applicatable for each vehicle. Always observe caution when cleaning contact surfaces between the rim, drum and hub.
An injector is required for complete wheels. When checking the air pressure: Connect the pump handle and apply a small blast of air to remove any dust in the valve. Check the air pressure in the normal way.
EASYBALANCE absorbs moisture and oil mist from the compressor air.

AB Alfr. Andersson Akeri is one of Sweden's largest family-owned haulage contractors with around 300 trucks and around 200 trailers, and has ownership interests in serveral other hauliers.
Their tyre workshops have been using EASYBALANCE balancing powder since 1994.
Tests using EASYBALANCE balancing powder in their trailers with 19.5" tyres have reduced spot wear or cupping and increased driving distances as a result.
EASYBALANCE balancing powder replaces lead weights as a balancing method, which is in line with current environmental policies around the world.
Material Grade

Checkpoint® is manufactured from Polyethylene. This special grade is suitable for heavy-duty applications such as high load urban duty cycle service or where full axle loading is the norm.
Checkpoint® is designed to distort and melt at a vehicle hub/stud tempreture of 125 degrees centigrade. In addition for further severe operating conditions Checkpoint® have a high temp product with a distort/melt point of 135 degrees centigrade.
The material used is a virgin polymer and is UV stabilised. It is therefore dimensionally stable. The polymer does not degrade in sunlight. Checkpoint® can be cleaned using any of the available vehicle cleaning agents, detergent solutions or paraffins.
Checkpoint® are not attacked by road salts or petrochemicals. The pointer being large, it is highly visible even when coated with road or operational grime.
